Episode 1: A gay murder mystery in an Escape room?? | Let's MEAT Adam gameplay
We kick things off as Adam, a charismatic (and slightly insufferable) gay influencer freshly relocated from New York, arriving at Escape Mansion WeHo with his quiet but gorgeous friend Vince. The library fills up with eight other guests: the gruff daddy bear Bart, the cold and calculating Earl, the anxious and sweet Lucky, the vaguely sinister Steve, the polished and slippery Kang (who casually drops that this is his second visit), the gym-bro himbo Pierce (who we spotted in a very compromising position in the parking lot), and finally, jaw-dropping A-lister Lars Bronson, freshly out and absolutely lovely.
The mood shifts fast. The host crackles over the PA with a distorted voice and explains the rules: nine hours, multiple puzzle rooms, only two people per room at a time, and the pairing must be sexually compatible (no two tops, no two bottoms). Then, to prove he means business, Lars is locked in a flooding glass room. Despite everyone frantically banging on the glass and trying to break the door, Lars drowns. Goat Man appears behind the second glass panel. The escape room is a death game and Lars is gone.
Letters are distributed assigning everyone a position. Adam is the only versatile player, making him the critical link for all future pairings. We solve the first puzzle room as a group using arrival order plus the numbers on the letters (cracking the VAPES password after some very dramatic trial and error), and make it to the first foyer. Here, Steve volunteers to pair with Lucky, Kang pairs with Bart, and Vince ends up with Earl. We, obviously, choose Pierce.
In the second puzzle room, a stunning all-white contemporary space, Adam solves a dried flower/leaf-count puzzle while Pierce provides moral support and bicep energy. They also have a very steamy encounter mid-puzzle that Pierce closes out with a promise to top Adam next time. They emerge victorious. Back in the foyer, Kang suggests leaving Steve and Lucky behind when they take significantly longer to appear. Bart pushes back hard on moral grounds, and Adam sides with waiting. Lucky finally confides to Adam that Steve makes him deeply uncomfortable, and Earl (in a surprising act of quiet decency) volunteers to swap with Lucky for the next round.
Round three pairings are set: Adam and Pierce again, Vince with Lucky, Kang with Bart, and Earl with Steve. The episode ends as Adam and Pierce crack a chaotic rainbow/color-theory puzzle in a cavernous neon room, with Adam eventually turning to ChatGPT after the CMYK madness nearly breaks his brain entirely.
